Scrolld
Privacy policy
Last updated 4 November 2026. Scrolld is a screen-time app for Android. This explains what data it uses and why.
On your phone only
Scrolld reads Android's usage statistics, with the Usage access permission you grant, to work out which apps you used, for how long, how often you opened them and how often you unlocked your phone. This app-by-app history is stored only on your phone, is left out of backups, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or use "Delete data on this phone".
If you sign in
Signing in is optional and only needed for Circles. If you sign in with Google we store:
- Your Google account email and name, to run your account.
- The username you choose, which members of your Circles can see.
- Your date of birth, visible only to you, to restore your life grid on a new phone.
- One row per day with your total screen time, short-form minutes and pickups. Members of Circles you've joined can see these totals while "Share my totals" is on.
If you subscribe
Purchases go through Google Play. Our billing provider RevenueCat records your subscription status against your account id. We never see payment details.
Notifications
If you turn on Circle nudges, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token and your phone's time zone to send them at sensible local times. Both are deleted when you turn nudges off or sign out.
Who processes data for us
Supabase (database and sign-in), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Google (sign-in, Play Billing, Firebase Cloud Messaging). We don't sell data, show ads or use advertising IDs.
Your choices
Turn off sharing in the app at any time. Delete your account in the app (You, then Delete my account) or on the web at Scrolld's delete page: your profile, daily totals and Circle memberships are deleted from our servers straight away. Revoke Usage access in Android Settings at any time. Scrolld is for people aged 13 and over.
